The Home Stretch of Your Ceremony Planning Timeline

With most of the big judgments crossed of your list, you’re in the home stretch of marriage planning. During this time, it’s important to focus on great- setting the particulars that will make your major day special.

This includes completing your ceremony furniture table once you have the finalized Rsvps, ordering wedding favors and document goods, and sending your vendors a moment- of routine. It’s also a good idea to survey the lawful demands for obtaining your marriage certificate, which differ by condition.

Depending on the style of ceremony you’re having, it may be a good idea to finish your invitations and mail out Rsvps around six weeks before your bride. This does give your friends and family plenty of time to clear their dates, book traveling apartments, and create provisions if they’re not able to enter.

It’s also a good idea to touch base with your wedding professionals around this time and confirm all bookings and complete contracts. It’s not uncommon for some vendors to book up to a year in advance, so it’s best to reach out sooner rather than later to secure your preferred dates.

If you want to include any readings in your ceremony, this is a great time to help friends and family select passages they’d like to read. And if you plan on having entertainment for your wedding, this is when it’s a good idea to ask them to start working on their performance, especially if they will be performing during dinner and/or the dance floor set.
